Ingredients

  • 3-4 oranges (santara), peeled, broken into segments, chilled
  • 125 gm papaya (papita), cut into medium-sized cubes, chilled
  • 2 tbsp / 30 gm sugar, powdered
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • 1 ½ cups / 300 ml water
  • 1 tsp / 5 ml lemon juice
  • Crushed ice for serving

Directions

Blend the chilled oranges and cut papaya with sugar, black salt and water in a mixer. Strain the lemon juice. Add crushed ice to individual glasses, pour the fruit mixture and serve.

Red papaya tastes better with this drink.



Spiced yoghurt drink
Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 200 gm yoghurt
  • ½ tsp /  2 ½ gm roasted cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp mint powder
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • 2 cups / 400 ml water
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing
Directions

Whisk the yoghurt. Add roasted cumin powder, salt to taste, mint powder and black salt. Stir to mix well. Add water and mix well.

Serve chilled garnished with coriander leaves
