1. May we bring our children to The Regent Hill Side?
Children of any age are welcome at The Regent Hill Side. Two children up to the age of 12 years can share their parents' room. An additional bed will be provided. Bearing in mind the peace and quiet that most guests prefer, we ask that parents ensure that children are not noisy inside the bungalow. Kids will have plenty of opportunities to scream and shout on the various excursions that we offer...
2. Which is the best season to visit?
The Regent Hill Side, rare for a boutique hotel, is a year round destination. The driest part of the year falls between February and May. The monsoon brings daily cloud bursts during June/July and October/November but rarely is there a full day of rain. Thankfully, the country house ambience at The Regent Hill Side means there's nothing better than curling up to read a good book, play backgammon or scrabble, all in indulgent comfort while the rain feeds the surrounding soil.

This region offers a great variety of treks. You can choose from a leisurely promenade to a real trek of up to 6 hours. We have marked recommended routes.
4. Do you have accommodation for drivers?
We do NOT have accommodation for drivers. But however there are quite a few budget accommodations available in the vicinity of the resort.

6. What is the weather like at The Regent Hill Side?

Daytime temperatures are comfortable in the low 20's C and at night can drop to 10 C. Days can feel very hot - some would call it a 'bad hair day' - and nights remain comfortably warm. In Yercaud the days and nights do get even a little warmer just prior to the monsoon around the end of April. All bedrooms have nice fans, so for those rare hot nights, you can be assured of a good night's sleep.
