Named after the house of Mrs.Connie Mae Vaughn a close friend of my father. She sold most her antique rosewood furniture to the bungalow during the late 70’s. Mrs.Vaughn was from one of the
aristocratic families of Yercaud her husband being Burmese. She served as the Honorary Secretary of the 100 odd years old Yercaud Club for several years despite the fact that she could only walk with the help of a walker as she had suffered from an attack of polio when she was in her childhood.
